Portrait of an arrested woman

Swimming attire

Something I like to comment on: First, how people swim, the whole procedure of the sport in the summer. People dip in in plenty of ways. Some are able to swim long swimming trips without drowning just for sport, usually. If able to swim altogether since water can be too polluted, there isn’t any water into which one could dive or simply do not know how to do the swimming. But what to wear? That is the biggest dilemma of this summer.
On the beach everybody is looking, this is my view, bodies. Maybe nobody notices anyone but still everyone is bare, unusually out in the open. Sun is burning, sand everywhere, it is hot, people sweat and gaze one another. What people wear when they swim and sunbathe is a topic much for this reason, nowadays mainly because of burkini, the Muslim way to dress women for swimming. What women wear for swimming is complicated. More than it should. There is a multitude to choose from but certain parts must be covered. This is a hot topic like every summer; fashion mostly is what the fuss is about, how tiny a bikini do we dare to put on and be seen in.

There was in the nineties a scandal when Danish women’s volleyball team had sun topless. I still remember the photo of the ladies in a row on a beach, it was cute. I haven’t found picture of the incident since. Culturally bound rules of how to dress on a beach wary quite a bit to the limit where men and women have separate beaches. For this there is a good reason and it is a reason why I avoid going to a crowded beach, I hate staring, to be started at and I dislike a crowd. To me beach with a crowd is a horrible experience but so is any crowd. This may be difficult to understand for those who enjoy sunbathing and tourist resorts in hot places and crowds, I don’t. Therefore I very well understand burkini. I don’t find it offensive, disturbing or strange in any way. Yet I come from a place where swimming naked is normal, at isolated places which there are almost nothing but in Eastern Finland. One reason for my love for isolated beaches and swimming nude. Swimming without any clothing is the best way to swim. Is it indecent? Well if nudity is a sin and to be seen naked is terrifying, then yes. I don’t mind nudity. I mind a kind of culture where people are targeted sexually. Nudity is freedom and everything is not sex.

What makes an interesting person?

She looks like she has had a rough life, full of hardship and violence. How does that first impression make us look at her? It is a drawing from a picture of an arrested person which I found online, an elderly woman with fierce look on her face. She is not defeated, she is not surprised and she is very different from an ideal look for a woman which interests me. I don’t know who she is, what she did or what has been done to her. Her face is a story. We let our imagination wonder and wander when we let it and are able to, assumptions and stereotypes lead our thinking very easily. Feelings of contempt and repulsion, feeling of fear, of pity, wanting to judge her on the spot come so quick and toss her aside as unwanted now that she is captured.

Do you know Jemma Lucy? Fractions

She is lighter now than when she started some weeks ago. Lighter, not as heavy as she was in her heaviest, approachable. Less of flesh, fleshiness in right places, round but not thin nor fat, seductive to look at.
Picture of a naked woman hand on crotch smiling by the pool. Jump in.
Picture of a woman in bikini posing and bending. Jump in. Picture of a woman flaunting her ample cleavage, perky posterior in a snake print swimsuit soaking up in the sun. Jump in.

boob boob boob job, job job job toned body in a khaki bikini on Ibiza Holiday after causing a stir. Stirring beauty. How does she do it?
Beauty sported with a pair of pale pink jogging bottoms, look at her ass. Now hands full with her Luis Vuitton carrier in one hand and a mobile in the other barely containing herself in floral bikini, look at her ass. Jemma Lucy looks like she is pregnant. Look at her ass. Who needs the millennium falcon pert posterior in revealing swimsuit? I don’t even know what that means.

What is eating? Everything. This action we must do and be compelled to commit every day. Stay focused even though the focus is on wrong things, always the same things, such as asses and breasts, sex and things we can grab. Nothing wrong with sex. No, but something wrong with neuroticism and blind obsession. Body means very different kinds of things to everybody even though it is to mean very simple pleasures in life and yet a necessity to be able to enjoy one’s body and somebody else’s body, to enjoy life. And how do we do it? No other interest than self-interest and pictures to look at?

North Country (1/10) Movie CLIP – Take it Like a Man (2005) HD

https://maryreview.com/trucking/?src=longreads ” “It was demeaning and degrading. [They acted like] the only reason I was there was to sleep with everyone.” She says she observed an on-duty terminal manager at Riverside who appeared to overhear sexual remarks directed at her but ignored them.” …”The trucking industry’s attitude toward women is antiquated, she says. “A woman entering trucking doesn’t have anyone looking out for them. Some people may say that they want to help, but the guys stick together.””

To take it like a man can mean that you have mental strength to face anything that comes to you be that bullying, harassment, rape, any act of violence and mental abuse. It also means to be able to have friends/buddies/allies who take care of you, who stand behind you and defend you, who understand and back your cause. That group sticks together and the one who stands alone against will stay alone unless there is legal help who is unbiased and neutral. It is one kind of show of power where justice is found within the group, with the help of the group, justice which is invention of their own and serves interests of the special group.

Sex is everything, everything is sex.

I’m thinking how to begin.. mum, I’m a lesbian. She will choke on her coffee and start laughing, cough and cough and look at me with wtf on her face, now this of all the things. How fucking weird are you? I know this or she will be like aha, and then I will start laughing and it will be all good.., and then she will ask do I have a girlfriend. I would say aha yes, she is ten years older than I am. Another choke. She will ask if I am taking my medication. About sex she would not dare to ask, I think. She would have to sleep on it. And then she’ll go and tell her friends that she has a lesbian daughter. There will be a silence, nobody would not know what to say. Hypothetically of course. Just creating an image in my mind what would happen if, you know. Though I might want to give horror to my mother just for fun. Like Merry Christmas Mother.
It is something that needs to be told to parents and the rest of the family that you are not straight because reproduction concerns family, because this hetero-thing has been in the family for ages. Where did you get this from, a freak. Family is something that is talked about with friends, co-workers, everywhere it is somehow important where you come from. But usually having lived in the same family the secret has been revealed little by little. It is a big issue in life who you love, how you have sex, what kinds of relationships you have, are you normal. I have been trying to understand the importance and part next of kin play in choosing profession, partner, way of living and how much do family decide for you. Question is how much do other people can decide for someone directly and indirectly. It is a guardianship that lasts the rest of one’s life up to a point. It is about self-awareness, obedience, being one’s own person and not someone who other people want you to be, if you can. But other people have quite much demands on you. To fail those demands in many cases means failing as a person. It is a programmed way to behave and think to do as you are asked or commanded to do which heteronormative structure is all about, order, structure, maintaining posture which must be spotless. It is about denial, forbidding odds, swings, mess is what has to be kept hidden. For someone to be gay means all are going to know that there is a freak in the family to which we do not know how to react.
