until nothing else is left than a wreck and a mutilated body. It can be said it is our nature to be violent when looking at the evidence, the history of man. There are some radical contradictions in the picture of salvation; how we pursue it, how we select which ones are worthy of rescuing and how we place grounds for saving.

To save a life is heroic deed. I can’t help of being cynical and think that there have been more or less desperate attempts in the name of saving the world. It is clear people acknowledge we need saving. It is a used theme in movies to give us, viewers, hope that someone is doing good for all of us. We like to see world in need of saving, but we inhabit and use it violently. I use the word world in the meaning it entails us in it, even though we, people like to use world as a tool of ours, which supposedly is outside of us and is for us. I see it, world, as us, in us, inseparable entity which deserves our respect and which is stronger than us self-evidently. We, humans are the ones who need constant saving, we are desperate for saving, hardcore rescuing of souls and minds is needed to mend our bad doings, to save something that is good. The world and its saving operation as it is us, becomes sensible, possible and actually realistic in religious context. It is sad and in the same time joyful situation of hopeful collective understanding which has got to do with faith. But does religion change ethics, attitudes and perspective of man when in the end he wants to save himself?

Why does it look like it is very often irrationality manifesting and presenting itself perfectly. How something very rational as Western modern straight mono culture can turn into being irrational, or has it been like that all along all the time. Something we have been afraid to acknowledge and see, the lunacy of ours in disguise. Modern mixed with Christianity tightly like the Stone Age mixed and living along with cyber space technology. Denying our mental illnesses as something out of demons, something to be hidden as dangerous, something to be killed is to deny ourselves. Crusades ongoing today in our world appear crazy on any scale. There are quite a number of people who have a very good and high opinion about themselves, but they do hateful acts in repeat, rightfully in their eyes for some reason they fail to see hate in their actions.

Centuries long oppression and hate against women and girls, which seems to go on and on is reason enough to be fucking angry.

I see this division very clearly in the art scene where working class based artists and audiences are minority, at least working class-ness is a very distant echo. Feminist theory and queer theory are very popular topics in the arts, which of course deal with important issues, but I have felt the more theory is emphasized the more distant art gets. This goes with feminism which paradoxically and firstly is about making change happen on grass root level not only on idea level, which is of course vital what comes to making change in academic studying and research more welcoming to women. So far historically Feminism is divided into three waves which begin from suffrage movement evolving to development of ideas and to action of women’s liberation movement and third wave is continuation and reaction to the second wave feminism There is hostility in Feminism which can keep it distant and repulsive. It is accused of hating men, hating sex, but looking from what kinds of issues Feminism springs out feelings of hate are more than understandable.

Feminism is first a movement, demonstration and fierce action claiming equal rights for all, possibilities to choose how to live. After having put action out Feminist theory started to develop. Prejudice has made it so that Feminism is not mainstream ideology even we are bound to it as ideology. It is not all that common to be working class feminist. Feminist theory is working and looking out from middle-class points of views and is seen as radical movement of those who can afford radicalism still. Working class is not all that radical anymore, at least not in Finland. They are scared and conformist, contents consuming quiet citizens. Feminist theory does not address everyone as doesn’t science as a whole even though it is meaning of science to serve everyone. Elitism and academic towers can be isolating. To talk to only certain kind of people of social change is not enough to make that change needed happen. Change required does not happen within middle-class, in academies and in theory, theory is empowering as is being able to think for yourself. Middle-class and working class do not respect each other enough, know each other enough, speak the same language or even want to understand each other. There is a mutual contempt there which stops multilevel action, compassion and collaboration.

What is gender, what is the meaning of gender? Is gender the most important ruling feature of people? How much does it dictate what happens to me? Funnily it has got to do with everything there possibly is in life. Gender dictates something naturally, people make strange delusional gender rules and orders themselves. Many say in this day Feminism is outdated, that Feminism has lost its power and meaning in making equality happen because it is about women, because capitalism has harnessed Feminism since Feminists demanded women right to work outside their homes. It is a shame to be a Feminist to demand equal rights as people. It is like a profanity and curse just like being a woman has been. How odd it sounds to be female and a curse. Most appalled I am that women curse gender of theirs, themselves and other women. The matter of division of genders is one of the biggest errors of mankind since now we know we all have both female and male qualities in us, therefore Feminism is about all people. It is to benefit all. That a man can walk like a woman, talk like a woman and I can weld if I like and still be feminine.

Why that lady walks with only one high heel and limping like that? I guess she has lost her other shoe and she is going home to have her a new pair.

Theater of change, reality of it, inevitability of it.

Why do I speak of theater when I seek change to be profound and lasting?

It is true revolution half-rimes with masturbation and I am just saying because it sounds funny.

Yes, it is a question of self-esteem, values in life and where do you come from.

Out of all experiences I have had working class culture has made me think what is creativity in working class context? How do working class people create and what it means to create? As for many welders welding is an art. And I agree. It is a beautiful work and skill. It is creation made possible at work and through that it is possible to understand one’s own creativity and skill. For people in that particular industry cars are an important way of self-expression. They are well taken care of and talked about subject. Man is his car. When a new guy appears at work his car is firstly checked out. It can be brutal, because man’s personality and character depends on his wheels. How about those who take the bus?  Take a guess.

With the thinking of what is working class goes also what it does not want to be.  It cuts itself out of many possibly fruitful things it thinks are not for it. Laborers like to place the blame of misfortunes on others and stick in their own comfortable circles. This I have experienced myself several times. Funnily same goes for the Arts. It is also curious how people like to find mistakes and errors in others instead of searching themselves. Yes, a working class hero exists, and an art hero exists, but from my point of view they are posing shells, nothing else.

Have you met Lucifer in this time of adversity, Do you know Her? Or is it Him? Is it sex? Walked in the dark woods, wet and afraid. She has a beautiful name. But it is not very ladylike to drink out of the bottle

She is just a little girl, but it is about to get very cold in here. fragile millimetric frost in layers, peeling up, shining through, letting incoming light come through, shock me, panic me, make me, revealing guilt and what to do with it. With waste that cannot be hidden, mud-like material to learn from, to apply on. Acknowledge it, admit it. There is no such word to make it up, fix the toxic mark, heal the broken bottle, used needles, anything left behind, any trace that tells me. Pure venom. Bite, lethally bitten. There is always a cut of skin, that’s what sharp objects are for, cutting.

When I open my eyes, what do I see? There is despair in the air, panic of losing, youthful looks as possessions to be sold as anything else. But why be bothered by this? There is nothing I can do to change the whole culture, only myself. Quickly before it fades away. Beauty is glue, people glued luring gazes looking for something to steal. Ritual blood spill.

Feminism as I see it, is part of humanism in a profound and attached, combined way, it cannot be chopped off for the reasons like it sounds old-fashioned or it does not glitter enough.  So does philosophy for some, sound like. It does not work or you don’t like, which one? Or you don’t want the stigma?

Humanism would be missing its body part. Humanism is our consciousness. We can hope for it not to be paralyzed, cut to parts that can’t understand each other, as it now seems to be the case. There are women who like to say that they are not feminists ( for some reason those who get to say it so it becomes news are American, ”I am this and that, but I am not feminist”..), those same people believe in strong and equal womanhood, strong woman, strong human, what is that, in terms of capitalism, what is a strong human in terms of humanity? Being above what, that other, giving orders or as strong as, as good as, but different. Problem is in seeing feminism as counter activism, against any other, like an outer negative force that wants to put parts of society in feminist kind of order. I have one request for every woman, if you do not relate to feminist why bring it up at all. Be a good sport. It’s good to be good. Women if they feel strong and are capable of acting out in their society as respected members are bound to feminism and its achievements, due to fighting for equal human rights most women can vote, be part of politics and speak their mind.

Disrespect for feminism is disrespect for humanity.
