Annie is dead. Got bullet in her head. A golden goose flew out the window when they found the body. Bulging the blood-filled balloon. Let the bastard chase your mental and physical collapse in this world that has no idea how many days and nights the world shakes shakes shakes, under constant ambience like aneurism,
like an animal waiting unexpectedly in your brain like somebody else
without proof of having seen it but felt it. Having been told it might be there. That there is a possibility of it killing you, that it killed you, an unknown object.
Respect the funeral ride of silent black emptying sorrow before the x-ray light.
Sorrow that bursted, till erupted the cortége before us on the walkway oily pavement like new
that there is lack like never before.

Photographing our lives

What is in the picture? What is left out? Who is able to use a camera and what kind of camera? Photographers are idealized in capturing the moment, capturing a feeling and time.

Have you noticed how especially in American TV-shows that like to emphasize speed and hurry shutter noise of a camera is used to bring atmosphere of the moment. Right now something important is going to happen or is going on. Quick shots in a row are shown to us as a mark of importance. Shows that focus on crime and politics, in which things happen rapidly, change fast, quick thinking and problem solving are the key issues. There are people who are on top of things, being solvers and key persons who have master minds. They are photographing situations and bloodstains or they are being photographed. Finding evidence, proof and truth, respectability and present moment right now on a face of that actor. Respectability and raising interest with quickness of a shutter of a camera, noise and movement.

In TV time is money and in acting strange kind of speeding, constant making and something happening, especially in American shows, all the time without moments of rest is a value that is repeated. Something new is there behind the corner all the time. Pauses are found boring and uninteresting, though they have been the core things of acting a long time. Without this newness of all the time we might lose and be forgotten. We are afraid of those two, losing and being forgotten.

What is an achievement?

To be able to measure what has been achieved is ground for growth. We have to be able to know and see accomplishments, results and effects of our work to proceed and make progress. We have to be able to evaluate our doings critically, good things and not so good things done.  How well we are able to do this is again a result of many things. Self-perception, self-worth and objectivity play a big part. Can we accept criticism given and change our ways, can anybody give feedback and is somebody else’s feedback more valuable than some other’s. How do we value our work and results ourselves? Why do we do what we do, reasons for working and achieving. Is it good for me only or good for many. How valuable am I as a person when I do the work that I do.

Does my achievement show, is it shown, forgotten, undervalued, regarded rightfully, equally, copied and imitated. Do I get the credit I deserve? Most everybody who does creative work goes through it all the time. We seek recognition like love and we seek it desperately. It is a sensitive field and can easily lead to corruption. It makes narcissists and twisted means flourish. So knowing this how do we measure achievement? What are our guiding lines and achievements we compare to deeds of our own?

Glued to every breath. Take a deep breath. Hold that trophy dear, polish it, keep it intact in a vacuum for us to look at.

She can’ t help of laughing. Well what did you expect. Yes exactly, what do you expect?

Glued to what? To the wall, to the pavement, to the past, to what you said, to your face, grabbing your coattail. To your penis probably. Maybe so. So beware of the glue-fingered woman. She’ll come and catch you. If it looks like to you she is in need of your comfort and security of your safe and entertaining company, run. Take that cup, turn and jump into the water.

Highly irregular blond naivety can be deceiving. Is it truly naivety of mine or someone else’s.  Inability to see female sex in a light of accomplishing and creating herself on her own. Making a way as an independent individual who has thoughts of her own. We do not live in a world that is open to variety and different kinds of opinions.

Shame. The shameful thing. No, not what I am wearing, no. Just born bad and doing the unexpected. What did they expect?
I am overwhelmed by the lack of empathy and compassion, scared of such people who seem to be the most. We are so attached to our need of ’friends’ and contacts that we suspect everyone whom we do not know. We think we know those who we have fun with, who are ’close’ and friendly with us. After having met men who are ashamed of women who do not fit category of ideal trophy woman, women who can be displayed for those friends, and after having been exposed to men’s complete indifference and unawareness of what it is to be a woman in a world of trophies, I am beginning to have the whole picture of the very limited way how men see women. Surprise is of course that many women wish to be displayed as trophies. You know already what a trophy woman is, right? It is probably not an official term. Woman is presented as an object in male competition and game where winner takes it all.

We like to expect and think we know. We are hugely disappointed when our expectations fail us, when they are not fulfilled. Question is how we become to expect something? We expect something from someone, something to happen, we expect our lives to be of certain kind. We have ’great’ expectations. Great meaning big material things mostly. We like to show off, be better than. To define the better would be good to check from time to time. What we value and why.

Fragile

To pay to get there where life could be peaceful and better. They probably paid thousands of Euros to make that trip.

How this happened

It is not necessarily an exaggeration to characterise the scale of would-be migrants arriving illegally into Europe as a permanent crisis but even within this context 2014 is looking like a particularly difficult year, with the expectation both of record numbers of arrivals and record numbers feared drowned.”

Self-portrait, 2012

Nonverbal is a very loud form of communication.

It is how we dress, how we use our faces, our hands, ways of carrying ourselves, looking, how we look and what we look at, pay attention to in people. A living being is a nonverbal statement of present moment and history of that person beginning from sex to ethnic background. A statement in time, in now and what has been, what has happened to that person, what he/she might be about. Women are masters of nonverbal communication. Thinking about how well we acknowledge it that we are doing constant observing and manipulating and are observed and manipulated, that our every gesture is a message and how much we pay attention to signals we pass forward is a matter of having been born into a culture that pays a lot of attention to appearance. We trust the first impression. What our friends say about that person. Strange thing is which I have noticed is that people think other people do not register how they are watched and observed. We like to belittle the other the one who is being observed. What kind of information is collected of us by looking is the foundation of our culture. It is a very sophisticated and evolved system of survival and bonding to notice little details, accept or dislike. We depend much on whether we dislike or not. I’m not sure do we consciously think why we dislike and is it justified.

Even the smallest things one might think do not matter make a difference. It is the banality, the animal, the hunter in us that pays attention to what the opponent might be doing and what does that other want and what does it mean. It is a brilliant form of learning by observing which makes our eyes an important tool. Action and reaction pattern in which those who think are very original and clever are actually normal mainstream group of people repeating the same signs, patterns, ways of reacting and doing which themselves make it easy to know how people think and how do they react to certain things. To know how people pay attention and what are the things get their attention. We like to think we are very special and unique. In some ways we are of course which makes our clinging to a group approval odd. Interpretations are not difficult to accomplish knowing how much we want acceptance. It is so simple that is actually clever. It is easy to know that this is not the case of exact science but somehow results are striking, very. Knowing how a similar kind of group of people think, how they keep their group dynamics and how the group keeps intact in its originality of course.

This is the very issue in cases of assumptions, thinking you know and passing on wrong information which is conducted due to any type of nonverbal communication. People communicate all the time, but to be absolutely sure what did she mean it is good to talk and ask. That is how people get information that is valid (hopefully) and not hanging in the air. Get the record straight.

How do we intellectualize the nonverbal and what is the intellect there in the first place? It is how specific analysis we are able to make. What do we make of it.

Scientific research on nonverbal communication and behavior began with the 1872 publication of Charles Darwin’s The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals. Since that time, there has been an abundance of research on the types, effects and expressions of unspoken communication and behavior. ”
