FIX HER, TO HAVE HER MIND AT EASE: GRANDE PLASTIC SURGERY PLEASES SPOILED PEOPLE.

What is beautiful then? We seem to seek more extravagant beauty routines as experiences more and more, which are part of the idea of beauty, it is a process and constantly new found ingredients, beauty and wellness services and tricks. It seems it is not a matter of personal taste that much but manipulation, influence, advertising, group think and hype, even cost is not an obstacle but personality, individuality and originality go easily scarce when searching for the plastic look. Taste and style which are guided by industries that produce beauty standards. It is strange to point out one industry and blame that one evil thing when we should look at the whole picture: fashion, cosmetics, movies and pop culture, entertainment and the celebrity boom, social media and meaning of one’s own contribution and image in it. The artificial cosmos around us and the constant boom which does not stop but accelerates and speeds up like there was no end as there obviously is not, since we want to be liked in constant movement and the easiest way is via looks and places to be.

What is this all for, to look stunning to impress, make the best kind of visual impact to attract, seduce, make followers, a reputation and fame, be remembered and looked at as beautiful on the outside, as someone who has great tits, fantastic body parts until one doesn’t anymore? We want to be remembered to have been someone who looked good up to standards and measurements ’made’ by ‘experts’ of beauty and style or having had style and beauty of our own but not? To be expert on beauty is a person who knows what beauty is, how to be beautiful. Interesting is how personal taste and made up beauty standards meet or what is personal anymore, one’s own, how far people are willing to go in becoming iconic, to be admired and gazed at, desired as sexy, fuckable and sexy are the biggest lures. For those who have the means to do as many surgeries as any surgeon can and is allowed to do on one person…

Having plastic surgery is like candy. It is a culture of looking infantile without maturity, finding satisfaction which quite doesn’t show. Somehow happiness is still far away from the perfected body, it is unreachable because there is not a fairy to grant happiness just like that. So it is not in the body parts. It cannot be bought. Instant gratification of looking the way you want is obviously good and you have the right to look the way you want, as long it is what you want. What do you want? To be fake is just plain easy and it is the target to be fake and like faking can be easy as lying, an act. To be as fake as you can and pretend it is the real you, pretend the perfect body and gained lifestyle is the ultimate happy place with similar friends around who share your views and lifestyle. The wrong is when fake becomes the only thing that is worth reaching out for. When a person is not good enough without those things that can be bought and body which is molded to match a standard. The wrong is when this is the best we can get to become and dream about. The worse is calling it reality. Calling it real.

What’s wrong with it? Probably everything. Shouldn’t we be concerned and think about the reasons why people feel bad about the way they look, about body parts that do not fill the requirements, requirements that are more and more imaginable and artificial, born via images and entertainment around us? Have us think the good and the desirable and make us want to be successful through surgery and publicity, via total modification of the seen, a creation.

Sentences like: I wanted to be pretty and be admired, but now I hate myself after plastic surgery went wrong badly. I almost died. It was done by an incompetent doctor. Such can happen since plastic surgery is not without risks. People despair painfully for the good looks. So badly it is sickening to look at and sad as hell. It truly is all what one is and when looks is gone you are done for. The most sickening part of this pain is someone thinking one is all wrong on the outside, in wrong body and what is outside of one is that needs repair, correction. Being beyond repair is a failure as such, wanting to be liked and loved for what you looks like, when you do not like the way you look and other people like to comment your looks to make sure you do feel there is something wrong with you and make sure you do not fit in and do not feel comfortable, are you sure it is you who is flawed? Seeking comfort in your body is like getting lost in a forest. Being comfortable in your body means one should aspire to take care of it, not mutilate and vandalize it and definitely not do what others tell you should look like. The definite and absolute end of life today is ugliness, old and worn out looks. People who want youthful feminine looks without trace of old age seek science fiction, being over forty is today too old even with surgery. Who takes interest in you when you do not fit the beauty standards, when you do not look fresh and young? Maybe we should ask, who cares. Oldies are a big varied group of people with skills and knowledge. Why reject them, us? Because of prejudice? Isn’t today for variety and acceptance, not brutality and bullying? I guess not.

The wrong is when this is the best we can get to become and dream about and walk in. The worse is calling it reality. Calling it real..the real you.

What’s wrong with it? Probably everything. Not because you had ludicrous ideas how you should look like. Such can happen since plastic surgery is not without risks. People despair painfully for the good looks, it is, I suppose, biological, but people want to deny biology, don’t they? So badly it is sickening to look at and sad as hell. Taking liberties of telling someone how she or he should live, what to be, do, say and think.

We like to think we have power over others and also like to think it is something we are entitled to having and using as much as there is room for such use of power and abuse. Especially what comes to women, young ones particularly, are thought that they are there to be molded, told what to do in life and made to fit ideals of other people. Constant commenting on looks, sexiness, way of walking, what girls and women should do and should not do, policing of present and future by giving instructions, dos and don’ts. It is a long list of instructions that flow in front of a young person which is expected for that person to follow and take seriously. Instructions given by people who take authority because that other person seems fragile and easy to mold. My experience is that any objection is seen hostile and unjustified rebellion because a fragile person does not have rights. A seemingly fragile and small person probably does not think for herself, is not capable of deciding for herself. It is quite unbelievable to witness such totalitarian order which young people are thought they should inevitably and without resisting grow into. Discouragement and lack of mental support can be overwhelming. You have to have pretty feisty temper, have proud self-image and idea of yourself, have a focused determination to do what you want to do and be. The best expert of you is yourself. Tricky part is when you will find that thing of yours in which to believe completely.

http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/by-banning-skinny-catwalk-models-we-blame-women-for-eating-disorders–and-ignore-the-real-reasons-10507425.htmlThe truth is that our body image is based on a range of factors – factors that include how we are seen by others, but also our sense of what our bodies can and can’t do, how good our bodies feel to us, and how much we feel our bodies define and shape who were are. None of these is simply dependent on how we compare our bodies to other people’s bodies. Our sense of self (of which body image is one component) is built up in more complex webs of social interaction that shape our sense of who we are, what is important about us, how we see ourselves.”

Pleasures in pain

From where ever she leaves she leaves a mystery behind. I met her yesterday and didn’t know what to say. I do have wisdom to know the world but when I met her I didn’t know what to be wise meant anymore. Maybe I just thought I have wisdom as myself and that I could look everything else from that knowing of mine, that knowledge I thought I had owning me. Why did I think I had such knowledge to see through when there are impossibilities such as her? ”The collective affect of love, loss, guilt, and mourning, maintains ties of identity.” http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/feminism-psychoanalysis/

Why should I accept you the way you are? To accept what exactly in anyone and what to dislike? Decision have to be made because one has to keep on moving and knowing. To think one knows is a pattern of the world today. We repeat what we know, we think we have knowledge, we pose with the knowledge we have. What we want to know and what we don’t know.

Really really

What is the problem when gazing opposite sex is normal, as it is, fun for some and unavoidable? Things perceived as normal can be wrong despite the normalcy. Sense of norms that bind us together and down that are there for reasons which maybe don’t apply anymore, reasons that keep us struggling against norm society, bias and unjust behavior. What is normal does not mean it is right and should not be changed. If one cannot help oneself, what is there to hope for. The extent, manner of approach which can be monotonously aggressive and unpleasant. Problematic is the position other person is viewed, from which point of view one is looked at and as what that other person is seen. What that view is meant to be and signal. Is it a signal to other men, not to women that much, that the man gazing is sexually active, straight and ready to have sex, has eye for female beauty? The gaze is to state a true man, manhood and virility. Gazes gazed.

Anyone who embraces one’s femininity is brave because being feminine in every day is seen dangerous and inviting.

Dear diary: This is my experience on the matter of being feminine which I am without much effort and which I sadly have felt i have had to hide because it attracts attention I do not want and to be feminine is of course inconvenient when doing art especially sculpting, which is funny. It is an imitation, camouflage and forgetting one’s outer self to find the correct way of being and doing art. I stopped using mini skirts and heels when I went into art, dove into the world of macho art and the doing art as work. Appearance comes second when one does work that is all consuming, but as I have learned it has a significant meaning. That is why I resent that my appearance is more important. I place my work first. I wish others would do the same. My gender and appearance are issues at work always and always.

Therefore I have decided to embrace my femininity again and bring it on. What does it even mean to be feminine? Or to have too much feminine look? Is all about the look?

Sometimes it seems that we have learned nothing about inclusion from our troubled past. In 1969, NOW president Betty Friedan called lesbians “the lavender menace.”  She believed that including lesbians in feminist activism would undermine popular opinion of the women’s movement. In response, Gloria Steinem rightfully said, ”Feminism isn’t a PR campaign, it’s a revolution.” Numerous groups and factions rose up to challenge the women’s movement’s exclusion of and hostility toward lesbians.  Current feminist response to trans and gender non-conforming people carries with it horrifying echoes of those old wounds.”
http://www.middleeasteye.net/columns/isiss-sexual-barbarity-not-exception-rule-war-1006868986 ”In the midst of slaughter the only choice is often between hate and lust. Human beings become objects, objects to extinguish or to provide carnal gratification. The widespread casual and frenetic sex in wartime often crosses the line into perversion and violence. It exposes the vast moral void.”

Quest for presentable.

How culture pushes us to mold our appearance into admired package to be wanted? We want to be wanted. What are those forces that do not give us permission to be accepted as such, as we desire to look like, but make us follow given patterns and imitate images that show who are wanted? Is it due to beauty norms which all the time change as does fashion, what is hip and what to have, what to be, where to be? Isn’t it weakness to follow beauty norms of others, to let one’s mind be dictated by machinery that only cares about profit? It is the weakness of modernism, modern man, and also as such a contradiction as modern man is supposed to be individual and original maker of one’s fate.

The most I have faced the norms is by men who have very strict norms for women in mind meaning that a woman is a continuation to a man to stand by a man and is seen with a man as his. Everything is measured from head to toe. Woman is to be with a man to complement him to bring him something extra. She is his choice either good or bad. Idea is to manipulate environment believe how good this man is. The thought of a man who is seen with this and this kind of woman and what of it. To accept and value woman as equal person is extremely difficult to implement in a world where woman is an object without capabilities other than what are believed to be hers. It is a sad reality of how life for us to live is for eyes of others to show off, continue a wreck culture. Basic thoughts of women as for someone to mold in order to serve and please.
