What is holy, sacred, when nothing seems to be? Do we have to find it over and over again? Is it a matter of decision and choice? Are there things that are equally holy and precious globally? Is holiness connected with religion and godliness? Something we have been given power to create naturally, but we do not have power to take away because life is one’s own. We think it, nature has holiness, and we are created by someone divine because it is in us and we are absolute beauty, a connection to spiritual world and we are given a gift of life. If that is the case why do we take power to destroy that something made by divine force.
Could accidents, coincidence, how things lead to one another be the ultimate sacred? Uncontrollable that we can only pray for and watch what happens next. We obviously are not very capable of knowing what will happen eventually. We like to play with fire. Learning what that other person is all about would be giving credit to the importance and preciousness of that other. What holy actually means now is a bit of a mystery to me. If people who say life is holy do not defend all life, but select some pieces of the puzzle of human life-like the unborn child to protect and preserve, how do they choose and prioritize value of any life, anyone’s life.
All good and worth while is about to come out. We just have to let it. It is pure and innocent for a little while, an unborn child and then born infant who has not done anything but was started up by chain reactions, random actions and desires. Actions become valid as the baby grows and learns, actions of the baby and what that baby will become. It is a good phrase and a golden image to use to wash oneself clean of any sin to have a desire to protect a child. An imaginary child. Protect that part of holiness of life that actually does not have any connection to the speaker other than desire to appear good. Of course it is holy, even the act of sex is holy and it is one’s own, desire is holy. In the straight world holy has marketing value in political game.
Miracle and holiness is that we do not know all of it how things will go.
