Images from online mugshots of women, an ongoing process of drawings and paintings, pencil on paper and acrylic on canvas. Depicting the changing face, controlled and uncontrolled, interested in the unmanipulated face, face turning into something else virtually, an avatar, a character, mess of pigment but reminding of human. Are we erasing the human? Process which doesn’t try to achieve perfection of the face, the painting is not perfect, it is a testing site as human seems to be today.
