What does it mean to be working class? It has meant things taken for granted and any variation to those things is still intolerable.

What kinds of characteristics class has is a story of people belonging to a class and what is outside of a class. Point being there is inside and outside of class between which communication is little, formal and suspicious. They think they know each other, they think they know all. Meaning of class awareness has meant different things for working class than for the middle class, who have been more content in quality of their lives, this is my conclusion. Working class wishes to imitate the middle class trying to match the quality of life for which they are entitled especially what comes to schooling, healthcare, day care etc. Middle class are those who feel their material needs are met, their offspring has chances in life to make something of themselves to follow needs of their own, or their families, all people belonging to this class have more chance of being content in their lives and see a brighter future, healthy and prosperous. There definitely has been a phenomenon//way of making things happen, that can be called looking after each other within a class, a solidarity between members of the same class, an awareness of similarity, knowing people and standing on the same level which connects and which form of communication can be difficult to attain when one comes from another class, higher or lower.

Reality of classes, conflicts, barriers and contempt between them which historical massive load is upon us, on us and within us is something inescapable. My class, which I was born to, has been a working class continuation in several generations. I come from very strong idea of work being the most important factor in life, an honorable thing and measure of worthiness. Schooling has not been seen as important although to me personally it was the most important thing. I lived to learn and still do. Therefore it is odd in my family that someone studies as much as I have (it has been possible) and hopefully I still will. Not to mention that one is an artist which is not work at all unless one is famous and makes money and it was said to me artists come from different class than I do, but that probably is not working class related thought. It is class and gender related issue that my capabilities are questioned over and over again. There has been strictly work for men and strictly work for women, strictly work for those others who come from different background. It is as if I am escaping something I cannot escape even though I do not escape I create. I don’t continue in a circle which to me is a dead-end.

Reality of struggle, old-fashioned thinking of the working class is very much build in me as background, fear, suspicion, disbelief and guilt, root and as a political view to life. Politics has always been an issue and everybody has had an opinion, not sure if the case is so anymore. Indifference seems to be the case. Basic idea for working class is to find a job, get married and have children. It is the traditional way in which nothing much changes but the society around to which we must adapt. That is also the breaking point of working class: difficulty to adapt to new thinking, difficulty to absorb new ideas, people and thinking, difficulty to see bigger picture, difficulty to adapt that their children do not want the same anymore, that their children are not extensions to their parents and do not continue something that was but make history of their own. Maybe it is something all classes share and that is why they are classes, divided and separate. Thoughts of worthlessness or superiority are often passed on and they drag us down.

One part and problem of working class is and has been low self-esteem of which scare, doubt and refusal to accept new tell. Fear to be active part of change, create movements and become change via education, open-mindedness and being curious. There is curiosity within working class but there is also inability to look further and beyond oneself, inability to think oneself as something else. Panic over losing one’s job and not being able to think alternatives for oneself is one example of being fixed into position given and not believing in oneself, not being able to think oneself as capable for many things but stuck without possibilities. Working class has been put down this way and they put themselves down. They who have power have made people think they should be scared and continue history of fear. Work is basic building brick of working class. Those who are scared for losing their position and wealth want people who do not believe in their possibilities, do not rebel, do not try to find alternative choices for themselves and don’t jeopardize power of those who stand on higher ladder. Now maybe even more as work is scarce and hard to find threats play an important role. One detail is striking, how long it takes for working class to rebel, rebel for what cause should be a question and they should find an answer (rebel not for themselves only), understand that they are the key in changing anything in the end. It is probably easy to continue the same work, the same daily routines, watch the same TV-shows, see the same people and read the same news papers. How to survive the shock when people lose these familiar things in their lives? When it is not possible to drive to work, when there is no work to go to, when we have to change what we eat, what we do, think, what we wear and what we talk about, not because we cannot personally afford but because ecologically our life style is unsustainable and wrong? Working class macho life style usually looks down on anything that hints to hugging trees and saving the environment. Gays and artists are the worst and to them there is a distance kept which works as a safety zone. Reluctance to understand and take part could not be more clear. To say we don’t understand also means we don’t even want to try. Time of no TV, no malls as we are used to having and no private cars maybe?

Does the UK really need ’wealth creators’ and ’hardworking people’?

https://peopleandnature.wordpress.com/2015/06/14/towards-a-real-fusion-of-socialism-and-ecology/?blogsub=confirming#subscribe-blogFrom its side, since its fundamental critique is technical (we have a better science, ecology), not political, the green movement has failed to engage the working class at all. Both sides sit entrenched in their own theories and snipe at each other.”

To become part of gender and sex-oriented society

Sign is there between the legs, a message to people how child should be brought up. What would happen if it didn’t mean that much, that sex wouldn’t dictate how we are perceived and how we should be? Saying earlier that to be a girl is a full on crisis is exactly it, how to grow and adjust to the environment when to adjust is the most wrong thing there could be and do. Adjust and accept because one must. Firstly is the issue of where you live and what kind of atmosphere you are born to, what does your environment tell you, makes of you, lets you be, how you will end up knowing who you are and what will you be, what you should be and who to believe, what to be scared of and what life is worth, your life. To having accepted how to live when does the fun end if we are having fun in the first place.

To be an individual can be tricky. What does it even mean anymore. Young men and women on the video below which is an intro to the movie Spring Breakers 2012 by Harmoni Korine is truthful to reality of college students in the US. Both sexes are exercising roles that are heterosexual and oppressive, roles that are to be followed by students as fun but strict and fitting the idea of letting go and being young in a certain way. Equaling reckless behavior to fun where women are exposing themselves as willing pornographic wild sexual partners on beach with alcohol and drugs. Camera angles tell the story of where to look. Women line up in front of men to play blow jobs with open mouths in which men pour drinks from cans, cans posing penises. All happens on the beach, bright color swimsuits and ads, ecstatic faces and young people who want to go out of control and to be seen as such. Men are more of spectators and users of goods which women gladly offer since it is fun and there are many women instead of one. Grouping is essential of this fun, group dynamic, collective awareness of what is happening and what to do. Who will be wildest and sexiest. Do men expose themselves, do they get drinks on them like it was sperm? This scene is a collective dance of spring, ancient as it is unacceptable and blown out of proportion. Pornographic imagery is very clear as is influence of music videos. All bodies are trained to perform this act. What happens really is shaming and objectifying of women. Women willingly play cattle to be slaughtered and enjoyed, enjoyed and slaughtered. It is suicidal, destructive and dangerous, but that is obviously what they seek, what turns them on. It is one way of seeing student life and a break from studying.

Promised land of BULK, some torture

Why is cruelty a dominating practice?

Is cruelty a dominating feature in humans? It certainly dominates to news. In certain realities cruelty dominates the whole of life experience. How do we select how to behave and act towards others and ourselves? Do we become cruel when our environment is cruel to us or do we act against cruelty, against all odds? Despite we get hurt ourselves do we fight against cruelty and do not fall into trap of being cruel as revenge? How do we prevent us from being cruel is of course to know what is cruel and what is good to do and what is not. Things gained via cruelty are not worth having is the first piece of advise to understand. How do we understand and obey such an advise in a cruel world? We have to know worth of the other in correlation and relation to us no matter how far, how strange, how poor. When others do not have value of ours to measure, to compare with us cruelty becomes easily a tool to manifest power over those others who are less according to measurements. Logic many times is when one has less one is less. How do we measure is interesting. Such mindless calculations can and often are very irrational without any factual base. We just like to think we are superior because.

Levels of appreciation and worth are plain and fairly obvious to see and they are continuously there in our every day to place people in to their places from which they have to work and live. It looks like a game of survival which can get bloody. Cruelty may get zillions of forms as we are an imaginative and idea rich individuals, at least so we like to think of ourselves. We also like to reason our cruelty as justified. To me it has become to seem as if most people do not recognize cruelty as a flaw and wrong in what they do. It is therefore accepted as part of a survival game where we must fight and find our place. To a certain extent it is justified to have such a fight. I find it essential part of individual development. Cruelty can have justification of the strong due to this knowledge that we have to fight to get something and when we have gotten what we wanted we have to protect it.

Is there any answer to the question of extent and bloodiness, answer to cruelty? Never plain and simple?

Liked, to like to not like

What kind of pattern of thought and events lead to emotional attachment or feelings of indifference? Feelings of positive or negative whole, entirety which make an entity from which to grow and see oneself and others. An idea of something and thought of someone, thoughts that one person has of people around and what one can do in one’s life? It is curious how we become to like or unlike, liked or not liked. It happens so easily, getting rid off an unpleasant sight, feeling, event, person, job, thing, something we cannot learn to live with. How there are these negative emotions towards something and why they are there and how well we tolerate them, and when we don’t have to tolerate anymore, when indeed. I ask because those negative feelings, events and things exist without going anywhere especially if they are left without solving. They can and will make a mess of unsolvable issues around, too difficult to handle and talk about. When the negative is passed on forward usually quite loosely and without much thought, it will have an effect. To think what kind of effect one wants to make in a world and to exist is therefore quite important. How negativity grows, feasts and eats our spaces, bodies and minds has a substantial meaning and ground in our daily lives. It happens so easily one can nothing but wonder the will to do bad, even when it seems minor offence, and the will to want bad to happen for someone even when it feels just a joke. There is a heavy core of infantile need to be quick and do damage just for the sake of damage. Damage that does not feel like damage to you. It brings joy to cause destruction and create a world of distrust and hurt for many. It obviously gives a feeling of power to inflict hurt and make someone feel an underdog.  As long as one is not caught. It is still matter of shame to knowingly cause hurt and want bad for someone I hope. Everyday ethics can be very lost, many not understanding what ethics means and how to apply ethics in everyday.

We eat everything and feel like leaving is the meaning.

People who have everything but have nothing to give. Something which is far away has got something worth while for them, a picture, to witness a dream and a journey. Where are you, where have you been, who are you. Is there something wrong when you want to go, realize a dream of going like leaving jail? It is good to go and come back. Philosophy of contemporary human to whom life is a magazine with constant novelty and joy, unable to stand everyday life, trivial chores thinking what there is to take, what there is to get. Cannot say I admire contemporary human as I see him and her lost. What to say to contemporary human I feel I have said quite much and feel powerless. There is so much and yet so little of everything.

Art is impotentti

Sex-ed, the sexiest Ed. from Henna on Vimeo.

Converge diverge converge diverge No not like that, let me show you. Is there a right way to do this?

First you shred a picture in a shredder, pictures, as many as you have, maybe all of them. You can do it by hand, tear a picture into little pieces. Then you put the pieces back together and look at the picture. Crunch it, it starts to look like the picture experienced something. Experiences of a picture. There is never a good time, there is never a decent time, there is never enough time, so you can do it now. Hopefully you have a shredder. As long as parts get together in order, they get what they need in form of see-through tape, see through tape, togetherness of pieces, end of loneliness of shreds, glue in hands, glued.

People who put their all in a shredder for whatever reason and end up putting things shredded back together again hoping things would be better, the same or at least become something whole, some kind of result and an event of making an effort. Like true love, whatever that is other than hard work, maybe it is more true, when broken and put back together again, light and revelation, fixing something broken. It must be the kind of love between mother and child in an equation, that the mother loves her child and does not put her child in to pieces.

How to keep your child whole, unbroken but not like an image or why should you keep your child from harm? Over-protection can do an awful lot of damage. How closely can you adjust the pieces that belong next to each other? Something has to be broken. Do we have to get something missing also? To have a reason to look ahead.

Revolution: when does it become a joke?

It is euphoria, necessity, unity and despair combined. Revolution answers to the question that has been in the air, in people’s minds, waiting to be made happen. When will people be free of oppression, harassment, surveillance, ill rulers who wish to gather fortunes for themselves instead of taking care of their people. The question that needs answering is what will happen if people stop obeying, stop being afraid, start acting and doing as their gut tells them to do: refuse, reject, revolt and resist with all you have got till the change needed has happened. What will it take and need? Things must go terribly wrong and bad until such uprising happens. People had huge protests all over the world against wars in Afghanistan and Iraq without much effect. Politicians ignored public opinion completely. Such demonstrations are not obviously enough to do the needed change of mind and manners operations and decisions are put in action in politics and business.

Revolution the joke happens when as occurred in 2011-2012 Egypt uprising people started to gather at Tahrir Square until police and army asked them to leave. People left and after two months and after promises having failed and unkept people came back and again they were asked to leave. This happened over and over again until police and army took up violent measures to clear up the square. Muslim Brotherhood wanted to get involved with the revolution which began as a peaceful sit-in. Islamists saw a golden opportunity for gaining power and move on with their agenda in Egypt. What is the agenda of Islamists? It does not seem to be the democratic one as protesters mainly were after. Is Islamist way any different than the dictatorship’s way of ruling? Those who firstly started the movement in 2011 still want social and political reform in a country that has been ruled undemocratically for thirty years by Hosni Mubarak. Now since 2013 Egypt has been under military rule as people rioted against Muslim Brotherhood and their president Muhammed Mursi. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_Revolution_of_2011

When people are ruled with violence, by constant threat, which stops people from being politically active and speaking their minds freely, it is a state of paralysis where anger piles up decades after decades. This is clear. Still it happens because big part of the world think people have to be ruled with violence. That fear of losing one’s life, which can be constant, is made a true fear, a true image of having power is to make people be scared. At the moment as I see it people are scared and they hang on to any method of survival they can find. Are we going to have a peaceful revolution when it happens again as a happening in a square as one hand? Definitely not. It probably is blasphemy to call this revolution a joke. Story of Egypt tells options for action are short when dissidents just vanish in thousands, protesters get killed and army can arm itself up to the teeth with help of the USA. But I am not laughing. It truly is a bad joke. The joke is how helpless people are, how easily led mass of people can follow fascism win. That’s the hilarious part in this joke. I’m cracking and laughing my ass off.
