I have been wondering how funny the female body is. The joke is there, just think of sex. We are bodies and at the very core of the myriad of problems humans have is the body, who has more physical power and who doesn’t have power whatsoever, what our bodies can do and what are they there for, moreover what are we for. Not forgetting we are body and mind, we have a mind in the gut too, so what is the tool called human? Body has to be covered but write a text on a dress to explain something. Is woman equipment or her breasts? What kind of an equipment? Coming closer to the question what is a woman as the thing is appearing to be nonexistent (femme n’existe pas) and just an idea to be put together like a doll and be played with which Barbie dream quite many wish to realise on themselves with plastic surgery. Barbie is a phenomenon not to be belittled.
Equipment for sports (sex can be sweaty) what kind of a joke Adidas is (nowadays quite cheap too in quality) or any big company that has gone along with activism?
It could be nothing but I can’t help but think of women’s sports now 2023 and what kind of a battlefield it has been turned in to, I mean women’s sportswear for men in times when sports is to make body ultra shiny, sexual and trimmed to show off and be looked at and up to, body which can be pretty much custom-made and the limit is one’s health and wealth. Fitness being the other ultimate body modification tool, not that healthy either, asking what is healthy anymore, natural being in beauty the wanted look still? Natural and artificial can and will get mixed up. To disagree might not be healthy anymore, but I thought being yourself and having free speech were the it thing in feminism.
Proofs of pure sexism since equipment is what females have been seen ( people do use each other) and nothing much has changed even though intersectional feminism claims transactivism is a feminist movement. I don’t consider even intersectional feminism feminism. To rule women out by men is the joke. Female body in the context of trans today is there to be taken over, ruled, bought and trans goes as far as saying biology is irrelevant. Having tantrums over the issue who is a woman is ruling social media and how people who say against this narrative are treated, is telling of a very childish and violent movement. Asking as someone curious of women’s issues in this world (terf), (we still recognize what a woman looks like) who was made biologically and whose life biological processes impact deeply and thoroughly: who has not been made biologically, who is made artificially and what does it mean when we begin fixing ourselves, how far is too far and is it fixing or making new problems? How being artificial is satisfying, since satisfaction is what most seem to be after, all is about instant gratification, wanting the feeling, living in a feeling of being a woman since it is a feeling and accepting every whim, also living in denial? All is biologically ruled eventually, how and why is and should it be denied? To feel better is to think nature in us doesn’t exist but biology exists in the environment where natural processes do rule over us.
As biology made the wanted items that can now be made artificially, copied and manufactured to fulfill our needs and keep the body tight, not ageing fast but slow (with the help of exercise and green smoothies) biology has to be discarded because we don’t like what it is saying and providing? Surely biology says we are equipment and easily discarded and replaced too, but surely we can’t say biology is no more. Natural processes are there regardless and after us.
Covering up female body is a hot topic and reasons there are that female body is disturbing the peace of mind. 2018 is quite far away from developments of the world today, but female body is still terribly problematic, scary, but needed, for sale, used and abused if willing and many are willing. Never mind the couch in the photo above, it is old and used, I used it in an installation. Something in the looking like you don’t have much other than your femininity and that is one’s capital, use it wisely.
Also I have been following the developments in the plastic surgery and beauty industries which use a lot of power as we live in a very visual world where images are to impress, In the year 2000 balloon tits were a joke, what is the joke exactly? Woman looking for attention, female anatomy being porn or made into porn and how it can be purchased, how long it can be used. Oh boy how female body can be purchased today, sold.
Selfies are to sell yourself, to be noticed, admired and make a living perhaps. Beauty is what we desire visually. It is a weird world of making it or not and to look healthy, beautiful and wealthy is essential. Women need to maintain their fresh looks, fresh meaning youth, being a woman is high maintenance. There is nothing fresh about having all attention paid to looks only. It is old. That is the sellable item. Artists are evaluated by these standards too, can you believe it.
