find a sweet Asian woman

To adventure is to be capable of adventuring.

How do we learn to think in a way that in everything we do we spontaneously see freedom of doing and freedom of thinking instead of performing, conducting or accomplishing being the priority? Accomplishment is important and to be recognized for not only work but existence, noticed as a person and being given something in return of having made by the person one is, feeling of having achieved and happiness of what one is joint together in harmony (impossible for an ambitious artist). Maybe achievement is too big a word in this what I am trying to get at..achievement of being able to have an adventure, adventurous mind is somewhat a privilege. Adventure has a likeness of lighthearted escapism and strong bond to idea of belonging to a privileged class, having an opportunity to do what one’s mind desires without a care and much effort. Without worry and heavy luggage, though it is the well-off who travel with luggage. To adventure is to be able to forget one’s possessions and position, that in mind privileged adventurer sounds like a snob who isn’t free enough to do what an adventure requires.

OMG she is strong and independent. She is frightening in her confidence which is hard to tolerate and face as such. She must suffer for her arrogance and nerve to think she has power.

What feminism has fought for has made the kind of woman who knows what she wants visible and admirable for many. Someone who goes after her dreams, makes herself, the kind of person who can be portrayed in advertising and movies. It is all good and serving up to a point. Something is still there to be analysed and worked with, because it is a very narrow branch to sit on where entertainment likes to place women and give them goals which seem somewhat plastic and exclusive. Emphasis on woman the consumer, woman the achiever, straight white there for a man, still. Celebrities are seen as strong and independent who are in control representing business which pays millions to performers where competition is heavy. To have fought your way up is an ideal image of success and a story worth selling.
What is it about control that is so inevitably vital to strength and independence, so much so that to be strong and independent are synonymous to having control of yourself, your life and everything that involves you. It has got to do with knowledge and awareness of how to manage your life which is the key to controlling it.  A place where nobody is telling you to do anything, you are doing what you expect of you. What do you expect of yourself and how well can you lead your life to live independently which can be a very lonely road, at least if you are an artist?
You decide and act upon your capabilities and needs which you think are yours, which make you. Then you must make someone want that package you have made. Is that where independence ends, because we have to be desirable to someone, women are there to be wanted? This basic human right to be wanted and loved as you are and have control over one’s own life are important parts of us, our character and building one’s identity. Independence of thought is too much to handle for many if one is a woman, still in all cultures around the globe. Women wanting to try out occupations that are known to be male dominated face harsh objection, bias, talk against and violence which brings out the brutality of the situation where women are at trying to have control and do what they wish. There is not a civilization that would not prohibit and strain women’s desires, bodies and lives. Norms and standards of how women should be are there even we like to think they are not.
She who has mind of her own and is not afraid to speak it, because she sees it ridiculous not to, can be treated an alien and unbalanced troublemaker. Scary as such. Art is not an exception quite on a contrary nor is science.

The Yes Woman: Did Calamity Jane have borderline personality disorder? The 1953 film’s gender and race politics are poor, but goshamighty, the tunes are catchy

Aroma tang fragrance scent

What does something that does not have an odor smell like? There is a need to smell, for smell, but what if, there is no smell. There are things that do not send a message of smelling like anything like that ad below I mentioned. It is to build an identity, a character and nature to rely on to live in contemporary work environment that admirers winners, celebrities and ultimate success which is narrowly defined capitalist dream. It for me does not have a smell. It is superficial about how things look instead of what they really are. A costume is to hide oneself, to camouflage and fit in but as perfected as much as possible.

What does independence mean?

There is a perfume ad that I saw on TV recently with Gwyneth Paltrow saying her lines telling about a passing moment in a woman’s life, wearing the product, wearing power and wealth, independence and strength, black suit and stiletto heels. The woman in the picture is strong and independent as she has perfected herself, according to the story, to fit a culture which desires wealth and likes to display it, where people are what they look like. Looking like a career woman breathing and posing strength in LA and of LA after a party walking out of a black car on an empty street, car with a chauffeur. Problematic of the concept independence is as tricky as is freedom, as any basic concept that we base our morals and modern lives on.

A grown up is supposed to be independent, not under a guardian needing taking care of, not fragile nor sick. Independent is balanced and aware of one’s position, independence something one had to gain and be proud of, a position in relation to others. It is interesting how a smell that one can spray on is like a last touch of luxury, finishing and a trim to make a person feel certain and sure of herself and make people around notice it by smelling her around, only this is for own pleasure. Her enjoyment is important and what she makes of it. Perfected fantasies that perfume ads make are surely fun to make as makers can create illusions and glittering floating images that reflect the idea of a perfume on a woman, what it means for a woman to wear a good smell, how sure and confident it makes her feel. Sprayed images of beauty, light like feather and fairies: Is it why we desire luxury objects for what they make of us or to show what I have made of myself?

Why is it still difficult for women to find work as artists and be given sufficient credit for their work?

There are so many things that need to be done something about what comes to women’s rights as workers, creative makers: to be independent and respected as such, respected for their work and having freedom of expression. Question is why the task of finding equality, equal opportunities, is taking so long and the road is bumpy as hell? Why such reluctant viewpoint on change and equal rights, repulsion against women’s points of view, all kinds of women? Only answer I can think of is that there are people who do not want women to have power, power to make decisions, show perspectives of different. There are people to whom women are frightening, especially women who know what they want and are not afraid to express their ideas and thoughts.
Why women as artists still need, obviously, more proving their talent than men, proving their art is valuable as pieces of art and part of our culture, not as some abnormalities? Women as artists bring value to the whole community, their stories are interesting, universal and unifying therefore worth while looking into and share. Movie industry is a good example of the rule of white men who do not seek anything other than making money. This conclusion I make as I follow what kind of movies get the most advertising and get noticed by media. Media and movie industry work together in this as does TV. The bigger the better has a testosterone impact all over and anything else gets rolled over. Anything marginal is getting past way too hastily, because it may not sell enough. That is a dead-end way to do art, produce living culture and do business. Things produced that we notice in every day stand out at news stands, fast food restaurants, magazines, on the internet with huge force. This in mind problem of inequality and what gets made and is made interesting by PR is acute and rooted to the whole culture of entertainment and art. Luring and exciting do hit strikingly and very much as a gender-issue as how culture is given to us. This is a responsibility issue, because we learn to watch either variety of things which inspire us, or monotonously something factory-produced, easy and ready-chewed entertainment which brings an ecstatic boost. A monoculture of white men telling how entertainment and art are produced, what gets made for us see like there was nothing else will hopefully soon be over. There is work to be done.

Article picks addressing important feminist issues:
http://msmagazine.com/blog/2015/05/13/aclu-goes-after-hollywoods-gender-gap/ ”Without the insight and experience of women, the entertainment media runs the risk of telling stories that not only fail the Bechdel Test but also rob audiences of a deeper understanding of the female experience. … There is a huge audience for storytelling that gives voice to everyone standing in line behind all the straight white men.”
