What is fear other than primal emotion to keep us alive. Does running scared keep us alive, because to me it looks like the emotion has a paralyzing effect. We wish to protect what is ours in order not to lose what we hold dear. To be afraid of losing one’s dearest, most valuable things and become someone who has nothing.

To be afraid is at least for a woman more or less normal. Dearest things to women in some countries include virginity, honor, marriage and family. Without those things women are trash. Are treated like trash. This sounds as if women are under heavy rule of traditions unable to decide for their lives. Value of their lives is in somebody else’s hands when one is born a girl.

To be suspicious of strangers, darkness, alleys, future, telling of one’s mind, being an artist, eating, drinking and whatever there is to be afraid of. There are lots of things that keep us alert. We are given information about what goes on in the world and how those things going on affect our lives. We are suppose to make conclusions and decision according to the news we get. We are meant to have faith in the news we get. World is reported for us continuously as we are all online. What does it all mean?
