Riot, anger, insanity, revolution: Struggle for survival under realities made by corporal dictatorships, realities informed by multinational media corporations daily like shouting, beating to our ears and eyes, to our brains, cells and nerves, that are being educated how to survive under circumstances created for us by corporations and governments in short leashes held by corporations, by monetary elite. What does that make us? What our reaction should be since we are made to be scared?

What kind of role do technological devices play in cultural and social revolutions now? Facebook and Twitter which I use get constant stream of videos and photos from activists around the globe of mass demonstrations and happenings which get invented while they happen. New forms of demonstration appearing to us as peaceful manner as possible. How peaceful demonstrations are possible to appear since police is not peaceful. I don’t know, how much self-defense is possible in nonviolent way. But all in all pacifist protests are manifesting themselves. Whether it means standing still or singing, playing in and with a crowd all night. Peaceful meaning avoiding physical violence, avoiding anybody getting killed, making the police part of the revolution as a friend and not the enemy. Writing, writing down notes, shouts, events that have occurred, demands, manifests, rules to obtain peace.

Photoshopped revolution, photographed revolution, filmed, acted, posed revolution, looked like and began. Avoiding open hostility, avoiding destruction as it turns against its doers. Avoiding violent conflict as it turns to be war. War as avoidable extreme measure that hopefully is not part of contemporary revolution. To make peaceful proposals of better communities, of better ways of working and living concerning all the world. Way of life at the moment is to exploit, rip off the best of everything and discard. Something serious that is like a rehearsed theater piece getting a reality shot, as everybody is an artist, making everybody make an effort and give their best, do things they are good at doing, creating, inventing, giving and sharing.

phony, as if something has happened, like hundreds of thousands of people have gathered together to demand better quality of life. It is like it has happened or is it an act in social media, bunch of theatrical photographs of young people making a difference. Making it reality. Just doing it. http://taksimdayanisma.org/?lang=en
